During the month of February, I have been riding the Expresso Bikes at the Andover/North Andover YMCA as part of the Rally for the Y in which Expresso pledged 10 cents a mile for all participants nationwide. More than 80 riders at the A/NA YMCA have been participating. A number of you generously pledged dollars to the Y as well, and I thank you for that. I said at the beginning of the month that I intended to ride 200 miles, and today’s ride took me just over 200 miles. I intend to stop logging further miles and to turn to other exercise activities that are friendlier to my knees. I also do not want to take advantage of those of you who based your pledges on a 200 mile objective. However, if anybody is still moved to pledge a small contribution, it is not too late.
